Jota Signs New Long-Term Deal with Liverpool

London, August 02 (QNA) - Diogo Jota has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool FC.
In a statement on its website, Liverpool said that the Portugal international put pen to paper on the deal at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday to further extend a spell at the club that began when he arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020.
Jota scored a dozen more goals during his debut season, including a memorable hat-trick away at Atalanta BC in the Champions League.
The forward bettered that tally in 2021-22, striking 21 times in all competitions to help Liverpool lift the Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup, as well as finish runners-up in the Premier League and Champions League. (QNA)
