Ankara, August 02 (QNA) - Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Mustafa Sentop and Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Aguila Saleh discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, which will reflect positively on other fields and sectors.
During the meeting, the two sides drew attention to the establishment of the Turkish-Libyan Friendship Group within the Turkish Parliament in 2021 to develop relations between Ankara and Tripoli.
Sentop expressed Turkey's keenness on the territorial integrity of Libya.
For his part, Saleh pointed to the need for the Libyans to move towards a dialogue that leads to the establishment of stability and peace in the country by holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
It is noteworthy that the Libyans are still different about the path that will lead them to organize elections to end the conflict in their country. (QNA)
