Amman, August 10 (QNA) - The civil aviation authorities in the State of Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to liberalize the passenger and cargo flights, allowing designated carriers to operate on any number of flights, which helps increase the cooperation in the air transport field between the two countries.
This came during bilateral talks, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Wednesday between the civil aviation authorities in the two countries, where the delegation of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) was headed by Mohamad Faleh Al Hajri, in charge of managing QCAA, while the Jordanian side was chaired by the Chief Commissioner and CEO of Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission Capt. Haitham Misto.
During the talks, they discussed matters of common interest in the civil aviation field and ways to enhance and develop them.
The results of the agreement will be positively reflected on the overall economic and investment activity and trade exchange. (QNA)
