Occupied Jerusalem, August 12 (QNA) - Several Palestinians were wounded by rubber-coated bullets Friday as occupation forces attacked participants in the weekly Kafr Qaddoum march against settlements east of Qalqilya.
Local Palestinian sources reported that occupation soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets and gas canisters toward the march participants, leaving seven young Palestinians wounded and dozens suffering from suffocation all of whom were treated in the field.
In Nablus, five Palestinians suffered from suffocation as occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement march in Bayt Dajan village, east Nablus.
The Director of the ambulance and emergency service of Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus Ahmed Jibril said that medical support was provided to the wounded in the field by Red Crescent's crews. Also, clashes erupted with the occupation forces in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, with no injuries reported.
In recent months, the occupation forces intensified their attacks on the Palestinians, and increased the pace of their incursions into towns and villages in the West Bank, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and the arrest of hundreds of citizens, including women and children. (QNA)
