Resignation of Kuwaiti Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Accepted

Kuwait, August 29 (QNA) - A decree was issued today accepting the resignation of Issa Ahmed Al Kandari, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs in Kuwait.

Another decree was also issued appointing Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Al Faris, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, in addition to his post as Acting Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, and the appointment of Dr. Rana Abdullah Al Faris as Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications and Technology Affairs.
Issa Ahmed Al Kandari submitted his resignation from the Kuwaiti government to run for the National Assembly elections scheduled for September 29.

On August 1, an Amiri decree was issued in Kuwait to form the new government, which includes 12 ministers, headed by HH Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
