Gaza, September 03 (QNA) - Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza signed an agreement on Saturday to support the marriage of 250 young men in Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the Palestinian Youth Support Fund, as part of the grant of Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation.
The agreement was signed by HE Chairman of Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi, and Chairman of the Palestinian Youth Support Fund Ahmed Muhaisen, at the Committee's headquarters in Gaza.
The agreement stipulates the provision of $500,000 to the Palestinian Youth Support Fund to cover the marriage needs of 250 youth in Gaza Strip, as part of Qatar's efforts to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Gazan youth and support them by providing marriage expenses.
The aid will be delivered to the beneficiaries who will be selected by the Palestinian Youth Support Fund and under the supervision of Qatar Committee. Each beneficiary will pay the amount of ($2,000) in easy monthly installment as a good loan.
The agreement also includes the use of the paid money to provide other good loans to new beneficiaries of young people willing to get married, in order to benefit a larger number of young people in Gaza Strip. (QNA)
