Tashkent, September 14 (QNA) - The State of Qatar signed Wednesday in Tashkent a memorandum of understanding (MoU) concerning its accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a Dialogue Partner.

The MoU was signed by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi on Qatar's side and HE the SCO Secretary-General Ambassador Zhang Ming on the organization's side.

The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the SCO summit held in Uzbekistan.
