Endowments Ministry Holds "Making Impact" Program

Doha, September 18 (QNA) -The Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by the women activity of the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance organized the "Making an Impact" program, which aims at field training for students of the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qatar University.
The women's activity department explained that the cooperation with Qatar University in the implementation of the three-month "Making an Impact" program comes in the framework of strengthening cooperation and community partnership between the ministry and government and educational institutions, where a number of female students from the Da'wah and Islamic Studies departments at the Faculty of Sharia participate in the program, which lasts until next November.
The "Making an Impact" program, which includes 12 events, eight training courses, two seminars and two lectures in the administrative and advocacy fields, the first joint field program with Qatar University, aims to graduate female students of the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic studies according to the needs of the labor market, as the program provides them with the opportunity to gain practical experience, field training and skills development, which helps them understand the needs and characteristics of the work environment before graduation.(QNA)
