AMAN Organizes Workshop on Making Safe Family Tuesday

Doha, September 19 (QNA) - The Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, organizes an awareness workshop Tuesday under the title "three secrets of making safe family".

The workshop, which will be presented by the specialized in social education sciences Dr. Salam Adlbi, aims to raise the awareness of the educational and psychological fundamentals of the effective educational and family life approach for children, and raise the awareness of guardians through lending the assistance and educational counseling to pursue proper and practical upbringing of children, working to help them acquire the safety values through preserving their psychological, physical and emotional health.

The workshop will include a myriad of themes that will address the methods of remedying parents' intolerance for a safe upbringing of children, including the four pillars of proper self-direction represented in trust, safety, self-worth, passion and communication. The event will also review some examples of how parents deal with their children.

In this context, AMAN acting head of the implementation and follow-up department Bakhita Al Ghayathin affirmed that the instrumental role played by AMAN entails the contribution to raising the community's awareness to reduce domestic violence, pointing out that the department is keen to operate in teamwork to implement multiple awareness, educational and cultural workshops specifically devoted to various segments of the audience, indicating that the awareness works as prevention against falling in any problem and an approach of acquiring new information, in addition to getting familiarized with the proper methods of upbringing, especially those related to the segments targeted by AMAN from women and victims of violence and family disintegration.
