Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from US Secretary of State

New York, September 19 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received today a phone call from HE US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The call dealt with reviewing bilateral relations between both countries, the latest developments in Afghanistan, and a host of regional and international issues of joint interest.
The US Secretary of State thanked the State of Qatar for its role in facilitating the release of a US national who was kidnapped in Afghanistan in 2020. (QNA)
