MOEHE: Work in Nurseries is Integrated Process to Provide Distinguished Service for Children

Doha, September 21 (QNA) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) affirmed that work in nurseries is an integrated process, in which the Ministry, nurseries and other parties participate to ensure that a distinguished service is provided to children from the age of two months to four years old before they join the educational levels in kindergartens and schools.

In a press statement on Wednesday, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at the Ministry Omar Abdulaziz Al Naama said that the increased demand for this service by parents holds nurseries with a great responsibility in caring for their children.

He noted that the Ministry's private education affairs sector holds periodic meetings with officials and owners of private nurseries, to enhance channels of communication with them, develop work in them, and provide the best childcare and care services, as well as review their daily work, the methods used in caring for and taking care of children, and the nurseries equipment, educational aids, and service facilities.

Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs visited several nurseries to complete the periodic meetings held by the private education sector with officials and owners of the private nurseries to enhance communication channels between them, develop the work in the nurseries and provide the best care services for children.

The total number of private nurseries in Qatar is 170 with 16 new ones are expected to be opened during 2022-2023.
