Doha, September 21 (QNA) - Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced today a decision to raise the QCB Deposit Rate (QCBDR) by 75 basis points to 3.75%.
In a statement on Wednesday, QCB also decided to raise the QCB Lending Rate (QCBLR) by 75 basis points to 4.50%.
In the same context, it was also decided to raise the QCB Repurchase Rate (QCB Repo Rate) by 75 basis points to 4.00%.
QCB noted in the statement that the decision to raise the interest rates was taken based on the evolving domestic and international macroeconomic developments. The decision will go into effect as of tomorrow, Thursday. (QNA)
