Jeddah, September 21 (QNA) - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the success of its mediation to release ten prisoners of Moroccan, US, UK, Swedish and Croatian nationals as part of a prisoner-swap between Russia and Ukraine.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday that the relevant Saudi authorities received and transferred the prisoners from Russia to the Kingdom and are facilitating procedures for their safe return to their respective countries.
In this regard, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation and to Ukraine for their response to the efforts to release the prisoners.
