Arab Meeting to Discuss Unified Media Plan to Deal With Developments in Jerusalem, with Qatari Participation

Cairo, October 03 (QNA) - The Arab council held a two-day meeting to prepare a unified Arab media plan to deal with developments in the city of Jerusalem, with the participation of the State of Qatar represented by Qatar Media Corporation.
Qatar Media Corporation was represented in the meeting by, Director of the Department of Planning Quality and International Cooperation, Ahmed Ghasab Al Hajri, and HE Head of the International Cooperation and Agreements Department, Sheikh Ahmed bin Thani Al-Thani.
The meeting came in implementation of the decision of the Council of Arab Information Ministers No. 508, which was held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States on September 22, on the item on the Palestinian issue, which stressed the need to provide media support to assist this cause, including the issue of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic and Christian holy sites through awareness media programs in accordance with a continuous Arab media policy.
The Council had called on the Arab media to highlight the efforts of Arab countries in supporting the Palestinian cause, with the aim of enlightening the young Palestinian generations in this regard. (QNA)
