We in Algeria are proud of these ideal relations that bind the two brotherly countries." HE the Algerian President added: "I also salute the efforts of HH the Amir in unifying Arab ranks and promoting Arab integration and solidarity. This is not strange for HH the Amir who was among the first to respond to the invitation to attend Algeria Summit, and to work for its success, nor is it strange for the sisterly State of Qatar under the leadership of HH the Amir who is supportive of the Arab cooperation." "The attendance of my brother HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Arab Summit strengthens cohesion and represents a strong catalyst for Arab reunification," HE the President stressed.

"In the political field, we note convergence of opinions on issues of common interest. As for the economic aspect, the leaderships of the two countries are working to promote it to the best levels, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples." His Excellency highlighted the significant positive outcome of the cooperation between the two countries, pointing to huge projects that have been accomplished, in addition to other projects that are underway and those that are about to be launched; stressing the keenness to continue working together to achieve an increase in investments in the short and medium term.
HE Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune commended Qatar's efforts and initiatives that aim at unifying Arab ranks and supporting the Palestinian cause, saying: "The sisterly State of Qatar has been exerting efforts to unify the Arab ranks and support the Palestinian cause. Here, I want to point out the effective role carried out by HH the Amir in support of the Palestinian cause." His Excellency added that Algeria and Qatar share the same position, noting: "In fact, all efforts that are in the interest of the Arab peoples, regardless of the level of results achieved on the ground, are appreciated, and constitute a motivation to encourage and strengthen the spirit of solidarity that is essential because, in the end, we share many challenges. We greatly appreciate the Qatari efforts that have been trying to find common ground on many of these issues." HE the President indicated that the balanced vision and the exclusion of the language of interests were the two important factors that the Qatari diplomacy has employed in finding settlements for disputes, some of them were long-running. "This is the fruit of continuous and diligent work that will reflect positively on the future of the Qatari role in the region, for which we wish more successes," His Excellency said.
HE President Abdelmadjid Tebboune underlined that Algeria Summit will represent a new start to activate and strengthen the joint Arab action aspired for by the Arab peoples, especially in light of the many challenges posed on the Arab group by new international transformations on multiple levels.
"I am very optimistic about the outcomes that will result from this summit. We believe that advancing the joint Arab action and embodying it on the ground via economic cooperation and convergence of views on various issues, while achieving harmony in issues that serve our Arab peoples, and relying on our capabilities, are all factors that can activate the desired Arab cooperation," HE the President said.
Asked about how Algeria Summit would address various regional and international challenges, and his vision in this regard, HE the Algerian President indicated that his vision is based on the belief in the capabilities and the role of Arabs in the international community as a whole, and as one harmonious Arab body that respects the sovereignty of states and their decisions and does not interfere in the affairs of others. "We are working to benefit from the diverse energies that abound Arab countries. This does not mean isolation at all, rather makes us a force of cohesion and a positive response to the aspirations of our peoples."
His Excellency underlined that Algeria is making unremitting efforts to make the 31st Arab Summit an opportunity to re-spread the spirit of Arab solidarity stemming from the common history and destiny, and to transform the challenges into a motive to rearrange the Arab House; noting a growing awareness of the various dimensions of these challenges that aim at creating more disputes, whether in direct or indirect way, and fueling them with the aim of weakening the Arab cohesion.
HE President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed to QNA that Algeria considers the Palestinian cause as the most important Arab issue throughout all times, and has maintained its duty towards the Palestinian people by continuing to support them at any time and in all circumstances, stressing Algeria's continued support for all international resolutions and covenants that stipulate the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, mainly the UN resolutions.
His Excellency expressed his hope that Algeria Summit would contribute to reattracting the Arab and world's attention to the Palestinian cause to help confront the brutal occupation that violates the lands and sanctities of the Palestinian people.
HE the Algerian President underlined that his country, which brought together the Palestinian factions within the framework of the reunification conference to achieve the Palestinian national unity, considers unifying the Palestinian ranks an Algerian duty towards the Palestinian people, given that its cause is pivotal and requires everyone to make efforts to reunite the Palestinians. He noted that all Palestinian factions welcomed the Algerian initiative which culminated in signing "Algeria Declaration".
He expressed his hope that these efforts would be crowned with the unification of the Palestinian ranks and the embodiment of the "Algeria Declaration", in order to end the division that does not serve the Palestinian people who are facing an occupation.
Regarding internal crises of some Arab countries, HE President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that Algeria is working alongside its brothers in the Arab League to find solutions to these internal crises, which are in fact a matter of concern of all. "We seek to promote dialogue and peaceful means as the only mechanisms capable of containing these crises, and to consolidate solutions within the framework of respecting the sovereignty of states and rejecting all forms of external interference, which history has proven to be the reason for prolonging every crisis," His Excellency noted.
On the significance of convening the Arab Summit in coincidence with the anniversary of the Algerian revolution, HE President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that Algeria's choice of November 1 as the date for convening the Arab League Summit reflects the sanctity and greatness of this day in the history of Algeria. This date has become a historical symbol for all peoples who aspire to freedom and independence.
"While we are in November, the month of sacrifices and heroism, in the country of martyrs, we have all determination and optimism for a better future for our peoples, imbued with the values and principles of our glorious liberation revolution that inspired many peoples who were under the tread of colonialism the meanings of freedom, independence and self-building. It is a revolution that will remain a source of pride for all Arab peoples," HE the Algerian President said.
At the end of his interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune said: "I renew my congratulations to the sisterly State of Qatar for organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which HH the Amir wants to be a gain for the Arab nation. For the first time in history, a competition of this global scale will be organized in a sisterly Arab country, and all the credit goes to the Qatari leadership and the Qatari people. We are very proud of this achievement which should enjoy the full support of the Arab nation."
