AMAN Center Signs Corporation Protocol with Seashore Group

Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), one of the centers of Qatar Foundation for Social Work of the Ministry of Social Development and the Family, signed a cooperation protocol with the Seashore Group. Executive Director of AMAN Center Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al-Thani and Seashore Group Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Saqr Saeed Al Mohannadi signed the agreement.

The cooperation protocol aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and achieve their common goals by creating a sustainable and practical framework between them, to enhance the quality of services and support provided to groups of the AMAN Center, including women and children victims of violence and family disintegration.

According to this cooperation, this agreement will be activated between the two parties, by organizing many events, activities, awareness campaigns and joint initiatives, in addition to cooperation in providing training and employment opportunities for the targeted groups of AMAN Center, and any other tasks or activities agreed upon by the two parties and deemed necessary to achieve their common goal.

In this context, Sheikh Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of AMAN Center, expressed the importance of signing cooperation protocols with several public and private agencies and sectors, considering that cooperation with the Seashore Group will contribute to achieving benefit for both parties, through cooperation in holding many events and awareness campaigns, in addition to the keenness of the two sides to provide job opportunities for the targeted groups of the center and to focus on the process of innovation and development in the proposals for awareness-raising events and projects that follow the field of social protection, and are related to the centers specialization.

For his part, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Seashore Group, Saqr Saeed Al Mohannadi, stressed the importance of activating this community partnership, as several events and awareness campaigns will be held to serve the targeted groups of the AMAN Center, including women, children and victims of family disintegration.

The Seashore Group is one of the major companies that was established in 1976 and it is one of the largest economic conglomerates with multiple specializations in the fields of industry, engineering, trade, and recycling.

Among the companies that keep pace with the rapid development witnessed by the State of Qatar, the Seashore Group has been socially committed to the economic sector joining forces with the state to achieve the principle of sustainability, as it established the ATAA Association, which is a cultural and social initiative.

AMAN seeks to spread awareness and education regarding the promotion of protection and rehabilitation of women and children in the State of Qatar. The center was established in 2013 to protect and rehabilitate women and children victims of violence and family disintegration and reintegrating them into society.
