Doha, November 09 (QNA) - The Katara Cultural Village Foundation launched "Wqtah" application which is available for download on the Apple and Android systems. The application serves both users and business owners and facilitates business owners listing and promoting their rest stops, camps, sports activities or trips through the application, and managing their reservations professionally.
The application also offers customers the possibility to search and compare prices and learn about new places with an effective and direct booking experience through the mobile app. whilst maintaining the confidentiality of customers information, by using secure electronic payment options.
The Founder and CEO of the Wqtah application Mohammed Khamis Al Sulaiti said in a press conference that it is an ambitious and emerging technology company in the tourism sector, especially domestic tourism, incubated in Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP) and part of the Microsoft for Startups Program.
Al Sulaiti added that the it started with a vision to take the local tourism industry to a higher level by providing advanced technological solutions that help in the process of digital transformation in Qatar, which is one of the main pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030.
