Cairo, November 30 (QNA) - The League of Arab States condemned the Israeli occupation's escalation in the West Bank cities, and warned against targeting and killing Palestinians in cold blood and the increased rate of violence since the beginning of this year, calling for the containment of the Israeli lawless actions.

In a statement on Wednesday, spokesman for the Arab League Secretary-General Jamal Rushdie pointing to the martyrdom of five Palestinians yesterday by the Israeli occupation forces in separate incidents, asserting that this systematic escalation is linked to the Israeli Right Party dominating the Israeli political scene.

He also warned of serious consequences, calling on the international community to intervene to protect the Palestinian civilians and stop Israel's killing machine.

He warned that threatening the security of the Palestinian people and depriving them of any political horizon they could aspire to could lead to violent explosion of the situation would not be in the interest of both sides. (QNA)
