Argentinian Government Grants Citizens Official Holiday After World Cup Win

Buenos Aires, December 20 (QNA) - The Argentinian government granted all citizens an official holiday on Tuesday in celebration of the coronation of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, resulting in the Argentine football team winning the trophy after beating France by penalty shoutouts 4-2 after the end of the regular and extra time of the game with a draw 3 - 3.

The decision of the Argentinian government coincides with the return of the Argentine team to his country, and in celebration of winning the world cup title.

Argentine team returned to the country holding the trophy that was crowned for the third time in his history, after a journey that took roughly 21 hours in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Upon arrival, several footballers and officials welcomed the team, along with thousands of fans at Ezeiza International Airport in the capital Buenos Aires coming from Doha.
