3 Pakistani Policemen Killed in Armed Attack in Northwest Pakistan

Islamabad, January 15 (QNA) - Three Pakistani policemen were killed in an armed attack targeted a security station in northwest Pakistan.
Police said in a statement that three policemen, including a senior officer, were killed while chasing the militant after the attack which took place in the suburbs of Peshawar, the provincial capital of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The statement noted that a group of militants attacked Sarband police station at midnight from different sides, using grenades, sniper rifles, and automatic weapons.
Police launched a search operation in the area to arrest the militants. (QNA)
