Doha, January 17 (QNA) - Katara Cultural Village (Katara) announced that the 7th edition of Mahaseel Festival will be launched on Thursday, with the participation of 28 local farms and 6 national companies specialized in poultry, meat and dairy, two companies for dates and honey, 8 nurseries, as well as shops selling traditional food.
The festival, which continues till Jan. 28th, will be held in the southern side of Katara in collaboration with Ministry of Municipality, and the market will continue operating on weekends till the end of March, from 9 am to 9 pm.
Chairman of Mahaseel organizing committee Salman Al Nuaimi said that the festival had a great importance in supporting and promoting the highest quality Qatari agricultural and food products, pointing that there will be activities and art workshops.
Mahaseel Festival aims to highlight the importance of diverse and growing agricultural and food products. It also contributes to promoting the Qatari farm's products which have achieved great reputation at reasonable prices.
