Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher

Kuwait, January 22 (QNA) - Kuwait Bourse closed up on Sunday as the All Share Index gained 20.35 points to reach 7,277.26 points, an increase of 0.28 percent.

As many as 232 million shares valued at KD 53.7 million (roughly USD 162.7 million) were traded via 10,037 transactions.

The Main Market Index went up by 42.6 points to reach 5,664.06 points, an increase of 0.76 percent, through 138.7 million shares done via 5,014 transactions valued at KD 14.2 million (roughly USD 49.3 million).

The Premier Market Index went up by 12.8 points to reach 8,070.64 points, an increase of 0.16 percent through 93.2 million shares done via 5,023 transactions valued at KD 37.4 million (roughly USD 113.3 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 21.6 points to the level of 5,713.33 points, up by 0.39 percent, through stock volume of 90.9 million shares done in 2,445 deals at a value of KD 9.3 million (roughly USD 28.17 million). (QNA)
