Qatar Stock Exchange Index Rises at Beginning of Monday's Trading

Doha, January 23 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of Monday's trading, by 33.68 points, or 0.31 %, to reach the level of 10938 points, compared to the closing of Sunday's trading.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed that the index increased, supported by the telecommunications sector by 0.47 % and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.12 %. On the other hand, the industries sector decreased by 0.19 %, the bank and financial services sector by 0.21 %, the insurance sector by 0.24 %, the real estate sector by 0.31 % and the transportation sector by 0.57 %.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 57.418 million riyals, distributed over 15,758 shares, implemented by 1974 transactions. (QNA)
