Doha Institute's Language Center to Hold Annual English Language Learning and Teaching Seminar

Doha, January 23 (QNA) - The Language Center at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies will hold its annual English language learning and teaching seminar on Thursday, Feb. 2.
The topic of the webinar includes enhancing motivation and interactivity in teaching English, as well as professional and academic presentations from the local and international community on topics related to teaching English in higher education, and teaching strategies to meet the needs of Arab students learning English as a foreign language.
The Language Center is concerned with implementing the Institutes linguistic mission and contributing to enhancing communication between the Institute and international academic institutions. The Institute adopts Arabic as a primary language for study and research, with English as a complementary language. The institution supports the capabilities of its students and staff to use English in research by providing intensive Academic English courses to develop the general competence of its students and support their linguistic and cultural abilities to benefit from international intellectual production in their fields of specialization.
