Slight Decline in Qatar Stock Exchange Index at Beginning of Tuesday's Trading

Doha, January 24 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange index decreased at the beginning of Tuesday's trading, by 6.15 points, or 0.06 %, to reach the level of 11031 points, compared to Monday's closing.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange indicated that the index decreased under pressure from the bank and financial services sector by 2.43 % and the transport, goods and consumer services sectors by 0.06 %. While the real estate sector increased by 0.63 %, the industrial sector by 0.51 %, the communications sector by 0.49 % and the insurance sector increased by 0.10 %.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 78.812 million riyals, distributed to 26,113 shares, implemented by 2162 transactions. (QNA)
