Private Education Affairs Sector Launches "Be Cautious" Initiative

Doha, January 25 (QNA) - The Private Education Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education called on all parents to take precaution when dealing with unlicensed home nurseries, as it's dangerous for security of their children. In this regard, the ministry launched an initiative under the theme "Be Cautious", aiming to eradicate the phenomenon of nurseries that are not licensed by the Ministry, and subject them to legal accountability, in a way that guarantees the safety and security of children.
Director of the Nurseries Department, Dr. Rania Mohamed emphasized the importance of parents to register their children in the nurseries that have official license from the ministry, and the importance to report any unlicensed nursery by checking the ministry's official website.
The nursery stage is important in building and forming the child's personality especially in his/her educational life, and effectively prepares the child to join kindergarten as it's the first experience for the children on school seats. (QNA)
