Libyan Social Affairs Minister Highlights Need for Advanced Policies to Address Multidimensional Poverty Issues

Doha, January 25 (QNA) - HE Libyan Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Wafaa Abu Bakr Al-Kilani affirmed that the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs discussed many issues, the most important of which were the rights of persons with disabilities and issues related to multidimensional poverty, noting that they have become key and major issues within our societies as a result of the increasing crises and conditions in the world.
Talking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) Dr. Al-Kilani stressed the need for developing modern and advanced policies to address multidimensional poverty issues, noting that there are joint efforts to develop appropriate solutions to these pressing issues through periodic meetings.
On the most prominent issue in the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, Her Excellency affirmed that the issues of people with disabilities are among the most important issues that must be focused on during the coming period, along with the continuous pursuit to find appropriate solutions for this group of society.
She expressed her happiness at participating in the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs in Doha, extending her thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for the accorded hospitality and reception. (QNA)
