Doha, February 21 (QNA) - With the support of philanthropists in Qatar, Qatar Charity (QC) continues its efforts to aid those under its sponsorship; orphans, persons with disabilities and families, affected by the earthquake that hit Turkiye and northern Syria, by providing basic shelter and food needs and supplies.

The aids come as part of QC's campaign "Save Earthquake Victims in Turkiye and Syria" and its global orphan care "Rofaqa" initiative.

In this context QC prepared a temporary shelter for 100 families in Harran district in Sanliurfa. Ita also prepared shelter for 25 families in Ankara.

QC also distributed 150 cloths bags to children of the affected families in Sanliurfa and provided basic needs for 50 families under its sponsorship in affected areas.

Meanwhile, QC sponsored 200 more orphans and 30 families in different areas affected by the quake.

Qatar Charity continues to monitor the conditions of its sponsored persons to provide them with all kinds of support through its teams deployed in various Turkish regions, as it sponsors over 6500 people in Turkey, of whom 4522 were affected by the earthquake. QNA)
