Doha, February 22 (QNA) - Qatar Fund for Development, the United States Department of State, and the United States Agency for International Development held a joint session on Humanitarian Assistance as part of the Fifth US-Qatar Strategic Dialogue, held by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the session, both parties discussed joint priorities and avenues for cooperation to strengthen humanitarian assistance worldwide.
The discussion highlighted the need for greater support for women and children in vulnerable contexts, rising food insecurity levels worldwide, and the importance of rapid responses to emerging humanitarian crises. (QNA)
