Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets UN Secretary-General

Doha, March 04 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Saturday with HE Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, on the occasion of the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), which convenes Sunday in Doha.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the UN and ways to support and develop them, in addition to the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, Libya and Afghanistan, the latest updates of the Iranian nuclear file talks, and several issues of common concern.

The UN Secretary-General thanked the State of Qatar for making the necessary arrangements to host the LDC5 conference. (QNA)
