Doha, April 05 (QNA) - Sporting director of Al-Sadd Club Mohammed Gholam affirmed that the club's first football team will play tomorrow to win over Al-Duhail in the 2023 Qatar Cup final to claim the first titles of the current football season 2022-2023.
Although the task will be very difficult against Al-Duhail, the leaders of the QNB Stars League, Al-Sadd seeks to win title and all members of the team are determined to achieve victory, he said.
Talking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) Gholam hoped that Al-Sadd will win the final match for which the fans are waiting. Certainly, the team is going through an exceptional season in light of the conditions that has been exposed to since the beginning of the season and the great absences it suffered in the first seven rounds as 15 players were absent due to their presence with the national teams, in addition to injuries that affected the team's career, he said, noting that it has succeeded in the recent matches in restoring balance and achieving successive victories, while looking forward to continuing work in order to claim titles.
The sporting director of Al-Sadd Club said that their goal was for Al-Sadd to be fully prepared and has all that needed to win championships. (QNA)
