Doha, April 08 (QNA) - As a part of the "Goals4Good" Ramadan campaign, the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation aimed at assisting marginalized communities in Palestine attain equitable quality higher education through the "Qatar Scholarship program." In partnership with Al-Quds Bard College of Arts and Sciences at Al-Quds University, EAA has earmarked 339 scholarships to the most marginalized youth and in-service teachers in Palestine. This program provides access to the only dual degree liberal arts undergraduate and post-graduate teaching education in Palestine. Students earn both US and Palestinian accredited degrees from Al-Quds Bard College at Al-Quds University, respectively. The program at AQB also provides student support services and civic engagement opportunities, over a period of eight years, which has the potential to transform the students' lives as well as the lives of their families and communities.

EAA's Al Fakhoora program is looking for funding for our 2025 strategy through innovative educational opportunities and strategic partnerships with other leading foundations and universities to provide an additional 4,000 holistic scholarships to support academic achievement and skills development to ensure the most civic-minded youth can truly make a difference for themselves, their peers and their communities.

This program builds on EAA's work in Palestine to date, including the 1,238 higher education and empowerment scholarships awarded in Gaza and the West Bank thus far. Education Above All has worked for over a decade to strengthen the education system in Gaza, EAA Foundation and with the support of its "strategic partner" the Qatar Fund for Development pledged $40 million to the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 93 educational institutions in the country, including the first Child Friendly School in Palestine. The Foundation's 4-year civic engagement program has positively changed the lives of 600 students, who in turn designed and implemented approximately 100 community initiatives, and delivered civic engagement workshops to over 800 school children across Gaza.

The EAA foundation's Ramadan campaign is slated to create a strong, unique buzz among people during Ramadan. Its goal is to raise awareness to educate every young man and woman and ensure no youth is left behind. (QNA)
