Baghdad, May 01 (QNA) - The activities of 10th Babylon Festival for International Cultures and Arts and book exhibition kicked off in Baghdad on Monday.

Held under the slogan "We are all Babylonians" with the participation of 42 publishing houses, 21 local houses and 21 international houses the event will last until May 8, 2023.

The inauguration ceremony featured a key note of the head of the festival Ali Al Shalah who hoped that the edition would be a different gate to build the culture of enlightening national festivals, which transcend local walls and bring together the innovations, cultures and arts of the world in the opening of Babylon's civilizations.

The festival witnesses participation of Arab writers, poets, artists and intellectuals some from Canada and others from Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, in addition to scores of names in poem, drama and fine art.
