With the participation of 13 diverse theatrical performances, the festival, he said, will be held with all the elements of theatrical creativity from groups, institutions, amateurs, universities and communities, explaining that a show entitled "50 Years of Theatre" will be held on the opening night of the festival to highlight the march of Qatari theater since its inception until today.

For her part, Director of the Department of Culture and Arts at the Ministry of Culture Maryam Yassin Al Hammadi said that the Doha Theater Festival is an old and distinguished cultural occasion and represents a historical era of culture from its inception until today, adding that theatrical festivals have a positive impact on the theatrical movement in particular and the cultural movement in general since theater is not meant for profit but rather for the support of culture and society and the presentation of ideas and values.
