Ramallah, May 24 (QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the crimes of demolition and bombing of Palestinian homes under false pretexts throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory, especially in Occupied East Jerusalem and Area C.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the Ministry considered the demolitions carried out by the occupation are the worst forms of collective punishment, large-scale ethnic cleansing, and an integral part of the occupation's open war on the Palestinian people and their rights, as well as a deepening of the annexation operations of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The statement emphasized that the crimes of demolition, house bombing and the distribution of further demolition notices were a crime against humanity.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry held the Israeli Government fully and directly responsible for these crimes and cautioned against treating them as figures in statistics or as issues that had become routine because they were repeated every day and did not and do not require international intervention or stance.

It called on the international community and States to assume their responsibilities to protect the Palestinian people and to take the necessary measures and sanctions to compel the occupying power to stop its unilateral crimes, actions and steps.
