Baghdad, May 27 (QNA) - The Development Road Conference was held Saturday in Iraqi capital, Baghdad, with Arab and regional participation.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al Sudani said the development road project, which will connect Iraq with Europe via Turkiye, will be a pillar for a sustainable economy, indicating that Grand Faw Port in Basra will be the gateway to this economic movement.

The participants discussed development projects associated with the Development Road. They also emphasized the project's regional importance, and discussed ways to strengthen regional partnerships, promote economic integration among participating countries and establish platforms for economic development to tackle challenges effectively.
