Doha, June 12 (QNA) - The first batch of the Qatar Hajj mission left for Saudi Arabia to prepare for this year's Hajj season 1444 AH, the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs said on Monday.

Head of Coordination and Follow-up Unit of the Ministry's Hajj and Umrah Affairs Department, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Nama, said that the first batch includes support units that will work intensively around the clock to create all the appropriate conditions and harness the capacities to prepare for the reception the official delegation of the Qatari Hajj mission.

All the support units would provide the best services to the Qatari pilgrims to facilitate their performance of the Hajj rituals through coordination with all concerned authorities, he said.

He highlighted the mission's Call and Support Unit Center that would provide Qatari pilgrims with awareness, guidance and health services, hailing the center as a linkage between the Qatari Hajj mission on the one hand and the country's pilgrims and their campaigns on the other hand. (QNA)
