Doha, June 26 (QNA) - Qatari Al-Ahli SC announced that it has signed with Ivorian footballer Idrissa Doumbia for two seasons from the Portuguese Sporting Lisbon team.

In a statement today, the club stated that it signed a contract with the central midfielder at the request of the team's coach, Nebosha Jovovic.

Al-Ahli seeks to perform strongly in the next season of the Qatar League, after it finished in eighth place last season with 24 points.
