New York, July 05 (QNA) - Meta will officially release Threads, its text-based Twitter competitor on Thursday, but for those who want to get ahead of the launch, theres a way to access your invitation now.
Social media firm Meta has confirmed the launch of its Twitter-rival Threads app and it will unveil the all-new social media app on July 6, 2023.
Ahead of the launch, Instagram is offering custom tickets to its users. Many Instagram users are sharing their tickets via Instagram Stories.
The new standalone app will be based on Instagram and integrate with ActivityPub, the decentralized social media protocol.
That will theoretically allow users of the new app to take their accounts and followers with them to other apps that support ActivityPub, including Mastodon. (QNA)
