The program comes within the operational plan of its societal service departments aimed at developing and spurring young peoples capabilities at all levels to optimize their life patterns with new orientations to build an influential personality in the community, said NAMA in a statement.

The program intends to meet young people's needs in Qatar, including those from 13- to16 years old adolescents in the transitional period through raising awareness on proper and balanced life patterns, knowledge-related psychological, social, physical, and mental health fields, supporting the internal balance of adolescents, developing, and upgrading self-understanding, in addition to promoting social skills that would help them deal with the outer world, respect others, as well as dialogue.

This year program will focus on the topic of a secure digital community which includes a myriad of themes concerning the concept of digital community, generalizing affirmative digital life culture, secure digital citizenship, introducing digital behavior, secure, responsible, and ethical use, in addition to digital protection.

Director of the Social Service Department at NAMA Manar Al Jabri said the program is a new one which NAMA seeks to apply on a substantial number of young males and females in Qatar within a strategic plan laid out by the center, pointing out that the project will include a training program that focuses on the topic of a secure digital community.

The training workshops will be held at NAMA in collaboration with youth centers and active entities whose number will reach 14 workshops for both males and females, Al Jabri said.
