Doha, July 19 (QNA) - Qatar University Young Scientists Center (QUYSC) has announced the details of the Sixth Youth Research Forum 2024 which is due to be held on March 6-7, 2024.

Held in cooperation with Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science (QNCECS) under the slogan: "Innovation for Developing Societies", the forum includes three core themes represented in the role of innovation in the humanities and social sciences, the role of the law in consolidating the concept of innovation and its impact on the development of societies, as well as the theme of science, engineering, and health.

Moreover, QNCEC has called on all Ph.D graduate and undergraduate students in Qatar, Arab, Gulf and international universities to participate with their research in this forum.

Director of the QU Young Scientists Center Prof. Noora Jabor Al-Thani said the forum represents a scientific platform to share expertise among young researchers from all over the world, in addition to supporting efforts of scientific research as a bedrock to explore solutions for challenges, problems and changes in various fields of scientific, technological, social, and economic life.

She pointed out that universities have the largest and most important role in the movement of scientific research and development, as they are the highest educational and research institutions, outlining that QU has always been a pioneer in achieving important strategies and aspirations to ensure the country's progress and spread its benefits to the world.

Researchers must employ the scientific research and apply it on a broader scale and disseminate its science, discoveries, and solutions, she said, pointing out that this is the orientation QU has adopted through supporting and organizing the Sixth Youth Research Forum 2024, along with its crucial scientific themes.

The forum's three themes include several topics suggested to the researchers and can be accessed through the website: http://www.qu.edu.qa/ar/conference/youth-research-forum. (QNA)
