Doha, August 21 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and Hungary announced today that they have raised the level of bilateral relations between the two countries to the level of strategic partnership.

This announcement comes following the official visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the capital, Budapest, which concluded today.

During the visit, HH the Amir discussed with both HE President Katalin Novak and HE Prime Minister Viktor Orban the development of cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and a number of issues of common interest.
