Doha, August 21 (QNA) The working group of the Economy, Trade and Industry Committee of the Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council held a meeting in Doha on Monday.

In the presence of several government officials of both countries, the meeting was headed by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater on Qatar's side and HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Planning for Economic and International Affairs HE Al Baraa bin Bassem Al Iskandarani on Saudi Arabia's side.

During the meeting, they discussed the strong relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in order to achieve common goals.

The meeting also covered topics on the agenda, especially the mechanisms to activate the import and export initiatives between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The two sides furthermore discussed the committee's strategic objectives and ways to consolidate integration and aspects of joint action that fall in line with Qatar and Saudi Arabia's economic visions.
