New York, September 19 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Tuesday with HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland Leo Varadkar on the margins of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and avenues to support and strengthen them, particularly in energy, economy, and trade fields.
The two sides also discussed avenues to reinforce joint development efforts in empowering women and minorities, in addition to discussing a range of regional and international issues of common concern. (QNA)
