Doha Debates Opens Registration for Students, Young People to Join Ambassador Program

Doha, October 04 (QNA) - Doha Debates, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, has opened registration for the students in Qatar and worldwide to participate in Doha Debates Ambassador Program.

The program is also open for other energetic young people to solve the most intricate global issues, while the application deadline will be on Dec. 1, 2023.

Through this program, ambitious leaders from around the world tend to learn sophisticated skills in communication and disputes resolution, ranging from international experts to local community leaders by discussing complex matters, such as climate change, equality between the two genders, as well as justice for persons with disabilities through a perspective that largely focuses on solutions.

The ambassadors will attend weekly virtual sessions during Jan. 17 to March 27, 2024, held by a host of international experts and lecturers to learn methods of leading multi-cultural discussions, in addition to forging good relationships with other young leaders from all over the world through high level events and projects.

Managing Director of Doha Debates, Amjad Atallah, outlined that since its inception in 2021, the Doha Debates Ambassador Program has been demonstrating the powerful passionate of young generations to solve the world problems, along with their readiness and determination to learn a myriad of essential skills to communicate and figure out a common ground that would push them forward.

The program is being set in partnership with 'Shared Studios', a global startup that leverages an innovative technology to reinforce relationships and empower cooperation worldwide.

Joining the Doha Debates online requires registration and completion of the brief training course: Welcome to the debates, which offers a full overview on the program. Following the completion of the training, people can apply for joining the program.

The program is organized by Doha Debates that generates interactive programs and content to help people converge their views, build consensus and figuring out solutions for pressing global issues. (QNA)
