Doha, October 10 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) has launched a relief campaign entitled "For Palestine" to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in the areas of food security, shelter, and health.

The campaign comes as part of Qatar Charitys humanitarian duty to alleviate the suffering of the affected Palestinian people in this challenging time.

The campaign aims to contribute to providing fuel for hospitals and vital facilities, essential medical treatments for the wounded, and food for needy families. It also seeks to meet safety and disease prevention needs, in addition to providing blankets and shelter supplies to alleviate the suffering of families who have lost their homes and are now living in the open.

CEOs assistant for the Resources Development and Media Sector at Qatar Charity, Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, said the current challenging humanitarian conditions in Palestine call for solidarity with our brothers there, emphasizing the need to support humanitarian and relief efforts to meet the basic needs.

He urged benefactors, companies, and other commercial entities in Qatar to support Qatar Charity's "For Palestine" campaign to enable it to reach the largest number of the affected and meet their urgent humanitarian needs. He noted that the support for the brothers and sisters in Palestine today is more crucial than ever before.

People can donate through Qatar Charitys website: qch.qa/gaza, or through dialing hotline 44290000 for donating. Donations can also be made at Qatar Charitys branches and collection points across the country.
