Qatari Media Center Organizes Workshop on Effective Communication with Public

Doha, October 18 (QNA) - The Qatari Media Center, of the Ministry of Culture, held a training workshop on Wednesday, under the theme of Effective social media, to promote media practices on asocial media platforms. The event brought together a host of trainers and those interested in media studies.
Delivered by the instructor Ahmed Al Shuaibi, the workshop comprised many themes, mainly opening communication channels with the public in which he identified the most significant communication channels with the public, as well as the distinction between them and their required tools.
The event also shed light on understanding these tools and their details, as well as the targeted recipients and the most important and preferred points.
The workshop devoted a theme on the importance of persistent communication with the public, particularly the alteration of styles during the communication to ensure effective communication.
The event touched on the significance of interaction with the public and making sure that no gap is left to further offer communication space for the public.
Director of the Qatar Media Center, Iman Al Kaabi, said communication with the public is among the skills that should exist in media professionals regardless of their area of operation, pointing out that the workshop comes in complementary to these skills to comprehend the professional and influential interaction on social media.
Through these workshops and training sessions, the center strives to contribute to rehabilitating media professionals, those who wish to operate in media field, as well as influencers on digital platforms to supply them with the essential skills in order to undertake the media and social role, Al Kaabi underlined.
