Russian Social Network VK Adds New Ways to Safely Log Into User Accounts
Moscow, October 19 (QNA) - Russian social network Vkontakte (VK) announced that it added new ways to log into the network's electronic account, to provide better protection for user accounts.
The new methods of accessing electronic accounts on the network will make it easier for users to access their accounts and will ensure their safety and privacy.
It is no longer necessary to use traditional passwords to access the electronic account in this network, rather, several other methods of logging in have been made available, aiming to provide greater protection for the accounts to prevent them from being hacked.
Users can now use biometric data such as fingerprint and face to access their accounts, or they can use the codes that arrive on their phones via SMS every time they want to access their accounts, and they can also use QR codes.
Users can choose any of the above-mentioned methods to enable the "VK ID" electronic account, and log into the account using one of them.
The electronic account can also be linked to a specific phone number and the account can be used from a smartphone and several other devices.
