Qatar, Australia Hold Talks in the Air Transport Field

Canberra, October 25 (QNA) - A round of bilateral discussions was held between Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and the Australian civil aviation authority, represented by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

The Qatari side was chaired by Mohammed Faleh Al Hajri, in charge of managing the Civil Aviation Authority, while the Australian side was chaired by Assistant Secretary for International Aviation and Infrastructure Jim Wolfe.

The discussions covered many subjects of joint interest in the field of air transport, as they included discussing ways to increase capacity and flights between the two countries.

The two sides also agreed to continue developing relations between the two countries in this field, and to enhance cooperation in the field of environment and sustainability.

These discussions come in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of the air services agreement between the two countries. (QNA)
