Qatar's Ali Al Obaidli Qualifies for IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship's Semi-Finals

Doha, November 14 (QNA) - Qatar's cueist Ali Al Obaidli has made a new achievement in the IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship, the 3rd of the World Championships 2023, organized by the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) until Nov. 24th with the participation of more than 200 players both male and female from 40 countries.
Al Obaidli, who was crowned a few days ago with the IBSF World Men's Snooker Championship 2023 title, secured a new medal for Qatar after qualifying for the semi-finals of the IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship, which witnesses the participation of 54 players representing 26 countries, after defeating Cheung Ka Wai of Hong Kong 5-4 in the quarter-finals.
Al Obaidli will face Pakistan's Ahsan Ramzan, who won the IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship's title last year in Doha, in the first semi-final match while the second semi-final match will bring together Cypriot Michael Georgiou and Pakistan's Muhammad Naseem.
The winners of the two semi-final matches are scheduled to meet on Wednesday evening in the final round match of the championship, while the two losers will receive third place. (QNA)
